UHC Medicare Advantage Update

UnitedHealthcare Contract Ends for MA and D-SNP Plans

As of April 1, 2026, NOHN is no longer contracted with UnitedHealthcare (UHC) for Medicare Advantage or Dual-Eligible (D-SNP) medical plans.

This change affects your out-of-pocket cost for services at NOHN for both PPO and HMO plans. Please contact UHC at the number on the back of your insurance card for specific plan details and cost estimates.

NOHN will continue to be contracted with UnitedHealthcare for dental and vision plans.

Enrollment Periods

You can change your health insurance plan(s) at certain times of the year:

>>Dual-Eligible Special Needs Plans (D-SNPs) – Medicare + Medicaid for those who qualify. Enrollment periods vary by plan. Visit www.hca.wa.gov/d-snp.

  • NOHN is contracted with these D-SNPs plans in 2026:

>>Special Enrollment Periods – Triggered by specific life events, such as moving or losing other coverage.

>>October 15 – December 7: Medicare Open Enrollment – Join, drop, or switch to another Medicare Advantage plan. Switch from Original Medicare to a Medicare Advantage plan or vice versa.
