24 Aug NOHN Receives HRSA Grant for Forks Clinic
North Olympic Healthcare Network (NOHN) has been awarded a New Access Point grant by the Health Resources and Services Administration (HRSA) to establish a clinic site in Forks, expanding healthcare services for the West End community.
The award provides $650,000 in federal funding for the budget period August 1, 2026, through July 31, 2027, and establishes the NOHN West End Clinic at 430 Terra Eden St., Forks, WA 98331 as an approved site under NOHN’s Health Center Program scope of project.
“Addressing the access gap in Forks has been part of our strategic conversation for some time,” said CEO Terri Sabella, PhD, JD, RN-BSN, CPHQ. “We’re excited for this opportunity to establish a more permanent presence in the community and build on the work we’ve been doing with our West End healthcare partners like Forks Community Hospital, Clallam County Public Health, and the Bogachiel Clinic.”
The award carries specific obligations and timelines. NOHN has 30 days to submit its project work plan, plus another 90 days to verify with HRSA that the site is operational. Initially, NOHN plans to offer primary care, behavioral health services, and substance use disorder treatment at the clinic. Additional details, including information on operating hours and staffing, will be made available as the project progresses.
