About Matthew Chance, FNP

Matthew Chance was born and raised right here in Port Angeles. He earned his bachelor’s degree in business from Western Washington University. When he and his wife, also from Port Angeles, were expecting their first child, they decided to move back home to the PNW. Matt studied nursing at Peninsula College, worked for almost 10 years as a Critical Care nurse and earned his Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) degree from Gonzaga University. Matt values meaningful relationships with his patients, and he’s grateful to be serving his hometown community as a part of the primary care team at NOHN.

Matt, his wife Kari and their two children enjoy traveling, live music and entertainment of all types and genres. In his downtime, you can find Matt hiking, golfing, grilling, and reading.
