Dr. Johnson grew up right here in Port Angeles. Her academic studies took her first to Western Washington University where she earned her bachelor’s degree, and later to Idaho State University where she received a PhD in clinical psychology.
Kristine completed her pre-doctoral internship at the University of Utah Neuropsychiatric Institute, and also did a post-graduate fellowship at the National Center for Telehealth and Technology. After her fellowship, Kristine joined a multi-specialty practice in Seattle that focused on providing evidence-based assessments and interventions for challenges associated with anxiety, depression, and other disorders of emotion regulation.
Kristine is excited to be back “home”, in Port Angeles. She passionately works with her patients to promote improvements in psychological, behavioral, and physical health domains. Outside of the office, Kristine very much enjoys reading, visiting with friends and family, and spending time outdoors.
