NOHN Welcomes New Clinical Pharmacist

North Olympic Healthcare Network (NOHN) is pleased to announce the addition of Minh Dang, PharmD, to its roster of clinicians.

Dang was born in Saigon, Vietnam, and moved to the United States when he was 16 years old. He received his bachelor’s degree in biochemistry from the University of Houston. He went on to study pharmacy, earning a Doctorate in Pharmacy from the University of South Florida. Prior to joining North Olympic Healthcare Network, Minh was a pharmacy manager at Jim’s Pharmacy in Port Angeles.

“I’m excited to offer my expertise in the service of patient health and safety,” said Dang. “I especially enjoy working with geriatric patients, as well as rural and underserved populations.”

Dang joins Lucille Johnston, PharmD, on the health center’s clinical pharmacy team. Working with providers and patients on medication ordering, storage, administration, dosing, and drug interactions, Dang and Johnston help to ensure that prescribed medications contribute to optimal health outcomes.
