Dejie was born in China and moved to the US when she was 5 years old. She grew up “slow traveling” through many US states, including Michigan, Wisconsin, Texas, Washington, and Oklahoma. She obtained her undergraduate degree in Biochemistry and completed her physician assistant studies at the University of Oklahoma.
Her medical interests include preventive medicine and increasing access to healthcare. In her time away from work, Dejie enjoys cooking, reading, and going hiking with her dog.
