Erin was born and raised in Oakley, CA in the farming delta of the San Francisco Bay Area. She has a BA in theology from Simpson University in northern California and earned her nursing degree from Peninsula College here in Port Angeles.
Erin has lived all over the country doing many different things. She worked with inner-city families, providing after-school and summer activities for school-aged kids and handy work in low-income housing. She lived in Jackson, MS, working as a CNA and volunteering for a non-profit clinic, assisting providers with OB/GYN care for underserved populations.
Erin worked as a crisis counselor in the Bay Area, working closely with individuals and families with disabilities. I worked in Organ and Tissue procurement, helping facilitate the gift of life in both the Bay Area and Los Angeles, and also worked as an executive legal assistant for an entertainment law firm while in Los Angeles. She and her husband moved to Las Vegas just before the pandemic and started their family before moving to Port Angeles, where she had the privilege of being a stay-at-home mom for a couple years.
Erin loves working with pregnant people as they navigate pregnancy and early parenthood. According to Erin, even the most uncomplicated pregnancies and “easy babies” come with loads of uncertainty and questions, and she enjoys being a small part of that journey. She has found great joy in primary care, working through the lifespan of individuals from all socio-economic backgrounds to help troubleshoot and find solutions to any and all questions and concerns that come up, and helping patients learn how to self-advocate.
Erin can be a total homebody and loves hanging out with her husband, Mike, and their two kids, Kenny and Olive, their cat Macchiato, and their new puppy, Scott. They travel as much as possible, taking the Coho to Victoria, visiting family all over the country, and occasionally traveling abroad. She enjoys learning new languages and has been practicing her Italian by teaching her kids.
